Reading about Grandstand and Big Daddy wrestling brought back memories. Wrestling with Angels - that's a good anthology. I always think it may feel like we're "wrestling" with God sometimes but even if things don't always work out the way we expect, God always knows what's best for us in the end. That's part of the power of prayer.Naomihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13524989873664135095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5608660058903144060.post-14196739306368585402008-08-04T21:22:00.000+01:002008-08-04T21:22:00.000+01:00AMEN! But maaaaaaaaan sometimes it takes a looooong time. I am sO stubborn!!! But in the end I always see Him sitting there shaking his head saying "Melli, Melli, Melli..." and after a deep sigh I say "okay Lord. You win!" And then it doesn't hurt anymore... and I always wonder WHY I was being sO stubborn! I am learning though! Over the last few years especially, I have learned to give in a LOT more quickly! :)Mellihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16266127127286739779noreply@blogger.com
